A few months ago I shared that we chose a life verse for each of our girls. A verse that simply expresses something God has laid on our hearts for their life. I'm still working on my project to somehow display each of their verses in their rooms. For Olivia we chose Isaiah 54:9-10,
To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you."Olivia's name is derived from the olive branch, which is a symbol of peace and is mentioned in the story of Noah. We love this promise for her that nothing in life can change the unfailing love of her God or take away His promise for peace.

Hi Rebecca,
I was glad to see your post just now - I have been praying hard for you and the baby lately. How are you feeling?
...Praying for and thinking of you...
Hugs and prayers,
Amanda
P.S.I love that verse in Isaiah.
this makes me smile.. our children's names are picked from bible verse as well.. and it's funny how they suit them so well.
I love your graphic today!
Beautiful picture/graphics!
What a comforting scripture!
Wonderful Verse! I have an Olivia too :) May you be blessed!
You know that just touched my heart...my third...the one who should not be here is a "Noah" and that just brought tears to my eyes...
As I made my WFW yesterday, it was as if God Himself guided me...what began as a prayer for one, turned into another and another...you included....it just came to me and I'm so TOUCHED that you printed it and have it there to comfort you...cling to it! Prayers constantly going up...for His will and that PEACE that surpasses ALL understanding...
hugs!
lori
Love that verse! Blessings, Jen
